Say it isn’t so!

Dwell at Target? I was just at Target-er, I mean Targhetto, today (surprise, surprise) and found the cutest stuff from dwell studio. It’s chic, it’s modern but without the modern price tag. Why does modern mean spendy? Don’t “they” know us po‘ folks need cool things too? I like the modern look, not to the extreme like my husband who would build us a house out of steel, concrete and glass. I like a little warmth to my straight lines no-frills approach. And I think dwell studio is perfect mix of modern and trendy but with warmth and softness. I so wanted to get P a crib set from this collection but it was a liiitttle out of my price range soooo I went with a lesser model.
As I was perusing the aisles of Target and taking my sweet time (P was at home with Daddy, why should I hurry??) I thought I would check out the baby section because I’m sure Pear really needs more baby crap. But she does need curtains (we are currently using towels and trust me it doesn’t look as good as it sounds) so I jaunted over to baby-ville and found the perfect little curtains from dwell studio. Hooray! I hung them up tonight and they look so great in her room! Hurry to your local Target before it’s all gone. Trust me you’re gonna like it.

Things I wish Target would sell…..

I wish Target would sell smartwool socks, or as my whitty friend recently dubbed the Target in my ‘hood the Targhetto. Yes, my neighborhood Target is a little scary. The Target itself is nice. Brand New. The neighborhood around it, scary.

If they sold Smartwool at Targhetto I would buy every single solitary pair-since I go there too many times in a week.
I should have stock in smartwool, maybe then I would have a ROI. That would make my husband happy. Maybe I should have stock in Target too.

My baby’s a chunker

but I love her. Seriously, Pear tops the charts in height and weight. Which is great because we know she’s healthy but when it come to clothes it’s the pits! She can’t wear any of those cute pants with zippers (like jeans, cord etc) because they are so tight around her tummy I hear her breathing like Darth Vader (poor kid). It’s elastic waste band pants for a while I afraid. Oh well, she’s just a baby anyway she doesn’t care what she wears. But I kind of do, it shouldn’t matter but I want to make sure my kid looks cute. Then I found some super cute corduroy pants at Target. They are by Oshkosh and have an adjustable waist band. They are great and perfect for Pear. Thank goodness for Target. Couldn’t live without that store.
