National Run a Mile Day

Thought I could post something interesting just to keep the spirit of this blog lighthearted (because of my last post). Although I think it’s okay to be down and sometimes it just feels nice to speak what is on my heart. A very wise person (Nona from Everyday Yogini) once told me, “We never know how happy we are unless we feel down once in a while.”
Today is National Run a Mile Day. So go on. Run/walk/skip/jump a mile or two. Or maybe just a stroll around the block. What ever suits your fancy. Your mind and body will thank you. I managed to get out and run here which really lifted my spirits. Happy Running.

  2. That looks like a beautiful place for a run. Unfortunately the weather today leaves a bit lacking in terms of being outdoors (now if only we’d get a thunderstorm) But I shall do some indoor exercising when I get home. Trying to tame my abs back into shape and regain some of my flexibility, tone my arms and stuff. Thanks for posting this!
